Why Didn't Cellphones Work?
When the 5.9 magnitude earthquake shook the east coast on August 23, many people found that their cellphones were not working. Landlines were working, firefighters and police were able to communicate, but a lot of cellphones were out. Why didn't cellphones work? Wireless carriers are being asked the question by the FCC.
